About

I am deeply passionate about both aesthetics and functionality, which fundamentally shapes my approach to design. With over 20 years of experience in the higher education sector, I have had the privilege of working with art and design students, teaching creative software, and providing guidance on a variety of projects.

In addition to my educational role, I have collaborated with non-profits and engaged in projects spanning design, video, animation, and web/interactive design. This diverse experience reinforces my commitment to crafting solutions that are not only visually appealing but also highly effective.

I have a strong interest in UX/UI design. This started when I taught a design module on Adobe XD at Bath Spa University. Where we explored the question: Why do humans use technology in certain ways? This question has stuck with me and shapes the way I look at design and has prompting further exploration through reading, self-directed learning, and the completion of the Professional Google UX program.

When approaching any project, I bring a creative problem-solving mindset while paying attention to detail in my work. The satisfaction I get from transforming concepts and ideas into tangible realities is truly rewarding. I believe that my skills, diverse experience, and unique perspective would contribute a distinct and valuable perspective
